At Baby Bug your privacy is our priority. Baby Bug will not release any personal information of our customers to persons or entities outside our organisation without your consent unless required by law or unless to an outsourced contractor for internal functions.

We take your security when dealing with us very seriously. We use "Secure Socket Layer" (SSL) encryption that protects data transmitted on the web. SSL encrypts all ordering information, including your name, address and credit card details. Once we receive your order, your personal information is immediately isolated on a secure server, behind our firewall, not accessible from the internet.

Our Delivery Policy

Delivery of New Zealand orders

Delivery in New Zealand is usually within 5 working days of receipt of order. Delivery times quoted are subject to product availability. We will advise you if an order is to be delayed. . We only use signature required tickets. If you are not home at time of delivery, a Card to Call will be left in your letterbox.

We aim for a compromise between good value delivery and fast delivery times - quite a challenge in today's high petrol price environment!

We use Fastways for all our New Zealand deliveries. 

Our standard delivery charges are $6 for Local Auckland, $10 for North & South Island depending on weight and size. Bigger items such as prams carseats & heavy items (such as Hammocks & cots) are subject to additional shipping charges at the price we are charged by Fastways.

**NEW** A4 Satchel bags $6 NZ Wide: These fit smaller items i.e Clothing, bottles & CD's..If your item fits into the stachel and you have ticked standard $10 delivery we will adjust your payment for the lesser amount, as all payments are done manually in the shop.

Our delivery areas are:

• Auckland - Orewa-Pokeno
• North Island
• South Island

Items in stock are usually despatched the same day they are ordered, provided orders are received by 2pm.  Some items are  not in stock and we have to order in and this can take up to 5 days but you will be advised

Please note rural delivery takes 2-3 days from shipping, dependant on your local Rural Delivery driver.

Please make a note with your order if you have specific delivery instructions for the driver to leave your parcel in a safe place if you dont require a signature. 

If your order is out of stock, we will notify you as quickly as possible and advise the expected delivery time. You are most welcome to choose an alternative product or cancel your order if you wish to do so.

The majority of orders are received within 5 days. Please let us know if you require your purchase urgently and we will work with you try to ensure this happens.

Please note that the expected delivery times depend on the availability of your order, your location and acceptance of payment. The delivery times are estimates based on  third party calculations (Courier Companies) and we do not hold any responsibilities for the delays in delivery.

Delivery of international orders:

We are happy to send orders internationally.  You will recieve an email confirmation once your order has been recieved, and again when it has been dispatched. Please ensure you give us a valid and frequently accessed email address. If you do not receive an email reply within 24 hours, please ensure you have checked your junk mail folder. 

Orders under $250 are sent by International Air. Orders over $250 are sent by International Courier. The delivery time for international orders is 5-15 working days. Any additional taxes or duties that are incurred within the recipients country are the responsibility of the buyer/recipient.

Our Prices Policy

Our products and services attract a Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 12.5%. All prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars and include GST and exclude freight charges. All prices are correct at time of publication, however Baby Bug reserves  the right to alter the price for any reason.

Specials and promotions on our Baby Bug website are exclusive to online and phone orders only.  We reserve the right to increase prices or to introduce new prices on our products and services at any time. Any such changes will be published in advance on our  website.

Warranty

Baby Bug does not warrant that a particular product is available or suitable for your purposes.

When necessary, due to limited availability of products from suppliers, Baby Bug has the right to make substitutions of products with equal or greater value.

Baby Bug does not warrant that your access to the network or the information contained will remain error free, or that the network or the server which stores and delivers the website and its contents to you will remain free of viruses or other harmful components. You may not adapt, reproduce, store, distribute, transmit, print, display, perform, publish or create derivative works from any part of this website without first obtaining the written permission from Baby Bug.

Return Policy

We try to stock only products that we have faith in and are covered by extensive manufacturer warranty.

Should you not be a satisfied customer we wish to know immediately so we can put things right.

As a customer of Baby Bug you can be assured that you can contact us if you are not happy with the product you purchase and we will help to get the matter sorted.

Returned goods must be in shop condition to gain a store credit and posted back to us within 7 days of receipt.

Exchanging sizes, colours etc is not a problem provided the product is in shop condition and another option is available. Should a replacement not be available we will give you a store credit note.

Should a product fail we would do everything possible to see that the manufacturer fixes or replaces the product to your satisfaction.

As Baby Bug is a New Zealand retailer you have the added benefit that we must comply with the Consumer Guarantees Act administered by the Ministry of Consumer affairs. You can view more information on your rights as a consumer here.
